Today it’s the kids’ turn in the kitchen!

Have you ever cooked with children? If you have, you’ll know that the end result is like a battlefield: flour all over the floor, fingermarks all over the wall, dirty clothes, sticky hair, shrieks, laughter, tears before bedtime… Childhood in its purest state, let’s be honest.

It’s fantastic when the youngest members of the family want to learn to cook. But it’s even more fantastic when cooking pros give them good advice so they don’t leave the kitchen as if the final Judgement Day has arrived.

Television shows like Master Chef Junior have aroused children’s interest in gastronomy without their parents having to tear their hair out.

In a very short time, and in a very educational way, the programme has helped kids to lose their fear about trying different foods. Their palates have become as adventurous as Indiana Jones!

Apart from being thankful for this gastronomic know-how, we should also take advantage of it. So today we’re going to give you some tips for an afternoon in the kitchen they won’t easily forget: making delicious mini carrot cakes with Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain. An original, easy and delicious afternoon snack.
