It's been a few years since we've started incorporating Asian food into our diet. I'm not just talking about using chopsticks. We've also included new recipes, ways of cooking food and new flavors into our repertoire. Cuisines where the sauces play an important role. You can probably name two or three Asian sauces off the top of your head. Here's one that will surprise you and give a fresh and exotic touch to your dishes, made with ginger and lemon.
Ginger is a thick, twisted root from Asia. It gives flavor to both sweet and salty dishes and can be used fresh, by grating the root, or dried. Its flavor is unique, clean and fresh, with a spicy touch and a strange texture. Ginger root has numerous health benefits as well.
It pairs well with meat and fish, but also with cakes and cookies. For your first time cooking with ginger, we recommend an arugula salad topped with this ginger dressing. Don't forget to add a splash of Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain. It will give your dressing more body and a mild flavor.
This vinaigrette can dress any salad, such as an arugula salad. What do you think? The dish changes completely! You can serve it on the side in a jar or on directly on the salad. But you don’t have to limit yourself to salads – this vinaigrette perfectly accompanies an array of fish and meat dishes.
