Paprika oil recipe

If you love the taste of paprika then this paprika oil is for you! In Europe, Spain is one of the top producers of paprika. The paprika that is grown in Spain is usually milder than the paprika that is grown in tropical regions. If you like a rich, spicier taste you can use paprika grown in more tropical regions but if you desire a sweeter and milder paprika, Spanish paprika is for you. Using Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain you can create a beautiful paprika oil which can be used for many dishes. Paprika oil can be used as a sauce and salad dressing, but it can also be used in cooking. It is great for marinating, sautéing, or grilling and seasoning meat and vegetables. Try this simple recipe yourself and experiment with all the delicious ways paprika oil can vamp up your meals!

Preparation:

  • Combine everything making sure that the pimenton gets well dissolved. Place on a small stock pot and put on top of low flame for 1 hour to infuse.
