Celebrating Mother’s Day: A Touch of Spanish Elegance

If you still don’t know what to give your mum for Mother’s Day, why not give her the gift of a home-made Spanish meal from the Basque Country in the north of Spain? The traditional dish cod al pil pil will surely leave you both with a good taste in your mouth. They say that the dish’s sauce is called pil pil because it’s the sound made by the bubbles bursting as it’s poured over the cod. Weird, right?

It’s easy to bring the taste of northern Spain to your own table with this delicious recipe. All you need is cod, garlic, Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain and guindilla peppers. With just these four ingredients, your mum will be left speechless. Ready?
