Reinvent your Mondays with Olive Oil: Meatless Monday

If there’s one thing we’re concerned about at Olive Oils from Spain, it’s the health of our consumers and that’s why we wanted to tell you today about an international movement that’s really been causing a stir in the last few years: Meatless Monday, an initiative that’s proved hugely popular in our country and indeed the world over, whose mission is to encourage people to eat less meat with the aim of improving health, upholding animal rights and reducing the impact on the environment. Just by cutting out meat on one day a week (Mondays) you can make this a day to celebrate a much more varied diet, packed with fruit and vegetables.

It goes without saying that we’re fully behind this initiative. We’re always in favour of eating a healthy, varied, balanced diet! The Mediterranean diet, in which Olive Oil is one of the most important cornerstones, also shares this philosophy. And it’s something we try to transmit every day through our articles and recipes. That’s why we’ve been visiting some of the world’s biggest cities with The Good Life Embassy, a space created for indulging in the Spanish diet and lifestyle; a platform from which we provide you with information and show you how to cook the most delicious, healthy recipes using Olive Oil.

So what better way to kick off this movement next Monday than to cook a mouth-watering paella with vegetables, wild mushrooms, eggs and Olive Oil from Spain. A well-rounded dish which shows how eating healthily can also mean indulging in the utmost pleasure.

Fancy giving it a go?
