Cocktails with olive oil

<img src=“cocktails.jpg” alt=“Cocktails on the desk”>

Believe it or not, extra virgin olive oil from spain could also be used in your favorite drinks. It can be a powerful player in food and beverage recipes because of its distinct flavor qualities. Olive oil may enhance beverages in a similar way to how savory cocktails have long taken influences from the culinary world.

The mouthfeel of olive oil is a crucial factor in its ascension behind the stick. Fat-washing, which takes animal fat from, say, cooked bacon and blends it with the whiskey to provide a nice, palate-coating sensation to your sip, became popular a few years ago. Olive oil, unlike fat-washing, has been found to benefit heart health. It also has more flavor subtleties, according to bartenders, than one-dimensional—albeit tasty—artery-clogging animal fats.

Here we will introduce you to a few cocktails that can be made with a use of olive oil.

Gin tonic with extra virgin olive oil from Spain

It’s one of the most common and straightforward recipes, so the olive oil from Spain will add a fresh and innovative touch that will undoubtedly surprise you.

The following are the ingredients you will need:

  • Gin
  • Extra virgin olive oil from Spain
  • Red fruits
  • Tonic
  • Sugar
  • Ice

To begin, insert the ice cubes into the cup and place them against the walls to cool them. Continue by removing the ice cubes and passing the edges of the cup through the sugar and extra virgin olive oil from Spain, which will form a sort of frosting. After that, reintroduce the ice, the generator, and the tone, and decorate with red fruits to your liking.

In this case, the olive oil appears as a frosting down the edge of the cup. However, it can also be mixed with the remainder of the drink’s ingredients.

Mr.Olive Cocktail

In this case, we’d like to introduce you to another beverage made with a light and very refreshing extra virgin olive oil.

The following are the ingredients you’ll need in this case:

  • 1 cl. extra virgin olive oil from Spain
  • 5 cl. fresh juice
  • 5 cl. ginger kombucha
  • 4 cl. sweet and sour lemonade
  • 2 cl. rosemary syrup
  • 2 gr. fresh ginger
  • 4 ice cubes

For its preparation you only must mix all these ingredients with a blender, except for the kombucha, which will be served once you have obtained the desired consistency. All that remains is to add the kombucha and serve.

Next, we will show you two cocktails with olive oil in which you will have to use a specific variety to obtain the desired result.

Once you have collected all the ingredients, you must mix them all in the same bowl. Then, liquid nitrogen will be added as the mixture is whipped with the help of a whisk. Finally, serve in a glass and decorate to taste.

Margarita with flaky white tea

For this cocktail with olive oil, an extra virgin olive oil of the leafy white variety will be used. This oil will have a slightly bitter taste, as well as a spicy touch, which will contrast wonderfully with this margarita that we will now present to you.

The ingredients you will need are the following:

  • 20 drops of extra virgin olive oil from Spain
  • 45 ml. of tequila
  • 15 ml. of Cointreau

To prepare it, first create a salt crust on the glass, wetting the edges in the oil and then passing it over the salt. Next, add all the ingredients except the garnish in a shaker and mix very well. After straining it, pour it all into the glass, and it’s done.
