A big-hitting salad: a total classic with a bright cherry vinaigrette

What does being innovative mean? Extravagantly decorating your dishes? Pretending to be an expert in food art when you know full well that sculpture was never your thing? Maybe you are an artist, who’s to say? But there are almost certainly other ways of being original without risking your health or sacrificing flavour. All you have to do, for example, is put all your imagination into creating salads.

In summer, you can’t go wrong when it comes to assembling fresh and original salads. You can create an almost infinite number without fear of ever repeating yourself. You remember the film Groundhog Day? Well, this is the opposite of that.

All you need to prepare an original salad is to combine your favourite healthy ingredients and dress them with a slug of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, lemon juice and salt. Sounds simple, right? Well, it doesn’t just sound simple, it is simple!

To give you an idea, we’ve chosen some delicious fresh vegetables, fruit and nuts and added a brightly-coloured cherry vinaigrette made with extra virgin olive oil. Always remember that Olive Oil cares for you inside and out. It’s a bit like your grandma, but with a more vitamin E.

Knowing all this, you can put your own personal stamp on conventional salads with unusual and incredibly delicious dressings. You might try a mango vinaigrette or a creamy apple one made with Olive Oil, salt flakes and lime juice. Don’t be scared to take risks. It’s bound to be delicious!
