Have you heard of the Food Truck phenomenon? Have you seen any of these little trucks in your city? Food Trucks were born in the United States and have been expanding throughout the world, offering fast but high-quality food near offices and other busy locations. In Spain, they have become so popular that there are even websites and guides that rank the bestones.
Olive Oils from Spain’s Food Truck, called the Tapas Truck, will no doubt feature at the top of those rankings. Whether you’re already a fan of Spanish cuisine or you haven’t tried it yet, you will love our Tapas Truck. In a few weeks, it will be on the streets of London serving free of charge tapas made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain, such as Iberian ham, patatas bravas and lemon cake, to name but a few.
The tour kicks off on 21 November at one of the country’s most important gastronomic events: the Taste of Christmas, located at Tobacco Dock, where it will stay until 24 November. Afterwards, it will travel to Notting Hill on 27 November and to South Bank from 30 November to 1 December. In December, the truck will visit Brixton Market (4 December), Borough Market (7 and 8 December), Camden Market Place (11 December), Covent Garden Market (14 and 15 December), Soho Farmers Market (18 December) and Old Spitalfields Market (21 and 22 December).
In addition to tapas, visitors will receive a printed recipe so they can cook one of our exquisite bite-sized creations themselves at home.
