How to make Teriyaki Burgers step by step

  1. Begin by preparing the teriyaki sauce. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir well until all ingredients are fully integrated.
  2. In a large bowl, add the ground beef and pour the teriyaki sauce over it. After washing your hands, mix the meat and sauce until well combined.
  3. Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape each one into a burger of the desired thickness.
  4. In a large frying pan, heat 4 tablespoons of Spanish olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the burgers in the pan and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked to your liking.
  5. While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the hamburger buns in a toaster or skillet.
  6. When the burgers are almost done, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each and let it melt slightly.
  7. Remove the burgers from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Put the burgers together by placing a leaf of lettuce on the bottom half of the bun, followed by a slice of tomato and red onion. Place the burger with melted cheese on top and add a slice of pineapple.
  9. Cover with the top half of the bun and it's ready to enjoy!
