Turn the oven on! Today we’re baking bread with Olive Oil

Nothing gives a cook greater pleasure than seeing their guests wiping their plates clean with a hunk of bread. That last mouthful, mopping up the sauce with the bread to that your taste buds savour for a few moments longer the flavour of whatever you have just eaten.

Dipping bread in Olive Oil is one of life’s most deeply-rooted and authentic pleasures.  What is less common but just as tasty is Olive Oil bread. It is so simple and so delicious that you’ll want to start eating it as soon as it comes out of the oven. Of course, like all good things in life, you’ll need to wait until it’s ready before you can get your teeth into this mouth-watering treat. Don’t be impatient; we absolutely promise that it’s worth the wait.

The secret to this recipe? Simply use a good Olive Oil from Spain and have the patience to allow the bread to bake to perfection. If you get it right the result is irresistible: crusty on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.

Many of you already bake your own bread at home, thanks to healthy gourmet trends that are encouraging even the laziest among us to eat a better and more healthily every day. Naturally, when you have recipes like this one it’s easy to get motivated.

Impossible to resist! Try it at home!
